Cairo summit on digital payments security and compliance

Egypt’s growing digital economy will be the focus of a Payment Security Summit on Sept 23, 2025 in Cairo. Organized by QNA in partnership with the Payment Security Standards Council, the event will bring together over 150 senior cybersecurity, IT and finance leaders from banking, retail, e-commerce and government sectors. With Egypt rapidly moving toward a cashless society – issuing 62 million e-payment cards and 36 million mobile wallets by 2023 – the summit will tackle security standards (like PCI DSS) and strategies to safeguard digital transactions. Speakers will discuss compliance, innovation and cross-industry collaboration to protect the booming e-commerce and fintech markets in Egypt.
